ANNA MARIA ISLAND -- Country music singing sensation Tracy Byrd
and his Nashville entourage were guests recently at the Bungalow
Beach Resort, where they filmed a music video for his latest single
“Just Let Me Be In Love” (currently #25 on the national country
charts) from his newest album, Ten Rounds.

Byrd was joined by representatives of the RCA record label and
Deaton Flanigen Productions. Most of the video footage was shot
in Bungalow #104 and the resort’s private beach and courtyard, as
well as on beautiful nearby Egmont Key. (Mr. Byrd stayed in the
newly remodeled Bungalow #101, while his producer, Steve Lamar,
stayed aboard the Bungalow Babe – and loved it!)
When asked about the selection process behind choosing a site for
the video, Steve said his staff did extensive research on the Internet
and in person. Originally they had planned to film in the Cayman
Islands, but recent security concerns prompted them to look for
a location closer to home.
“Bungalow Beach Resort had the most charm of any place we saw.
We wanted people to think we were in the Bahamas or Mexico, and
it definitely has that feel to it. It was a great place to stay
and to shoot.” Steve said. “And the people there were so nice, even
from the very first phone call. They were very accommodating and
really helped us to pull the whole thing together.”
According to resort manager Cory Huffman, Tracy Byrd was pleasant
to both staff and guests during his stay, even taking the time to
sign a few autographs. Resort owner Gayle Luper was especially thrilled
to be serenaded by Mr. Byrd during an impromptu performance.
Tracy and his crew thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Bungalow Beach
Resort and promised to return on their free time to enjoy a non-working
vacation.
